Step #3 – Wear Cape: Day 1

Day one of intentionally practicing positive thinking. When I sat down at the end of the day to think about and write down a positive memory from the day, I found that some of the negative aspects of the day would start sneaking into my working memory. It was a bit of an effort to push those negative thoughts away and focus on just the positive. It really helped keep me focused to do something concrete like write my words down instead of just think about them.
